Wait--I thought that "illegal residents" didn't pay taxes?

It was recently announced that the deputy commissioner of the IRS, Melanie Krause, is resigning after the federal agency agreed to share its tax information with ICE that lovely agency that has been deporting legal migrants and arrest even American citizens.
Amazing that the immigrant citizens voted for a guy who took out a full page New York Times ad demanding the death penalty for the "Central Park Five"--black young men accused of assaulting and raping a white woman. They were all eventually exonerated. Did they not see the writing on the wall? Trump is a racist just as his father was. That's why they refused to rent their tenament apartments in Queens to African-Americans back in the day and were sued for it. Did they really think that suddenly he would embrace Latinos and African-Americans for any reason other than for their votes?
Trump, MAGA, and general racists always complain that undocumented migrants don't pay taxes and are stealing from the country. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is now giving their information to ICE which basically wants to deport all of the non-whites. Um HOW WOULD THE IRS HAVE THEIR TAX INFORMATION IF THEY DON'T PAY TAXES? Yes they pay taxes. They also pay sales taxes on their purchases for gas, groceries, and household products.
Good for Melanie Krause for resigning. I wouldn't be able to support that kind of BS and hypocrisy. There are still some true American patriots out there and they damn sure aren't the ones hugging a flag, driving into a crowd of protestors, or breaking into the US Capitol to interfere with an election.

@RasmaSandra You also paid into that, which was the points People try to bash social security, but much safer than stock market. My sisters 85 year old friend lost most of his money in Trumps recent tariffs, says he has to go back to work now just to afford to live. That's not right. Smart man too, engineer. Doubt he shook anything for more money because he was so smart, but he is going to pay because he have crooks running the country.4O1 k is a joke, especially when whole country falls for a fraud.

Superman must be hiding in his Fortress of Solitude because he doesn't seem to be out there fighting for "Truth, Justice and the American way"... not this American way, anyway.
