just read a report involved Detroit,it worried people would keep their car longer.and I can't help wondering if the auto in US have a deadline,and how many years before it expired. drive safe,mylotters

Cars last as long as the owner wants to keep pumping money into it as it ages. I usually keep mine until it's cheaper to buy a new one than fixing the problems the old one has acquired over the years.

My car is 24 years old, gets good gas mileage and is not giving me any issues. I see no reason to go into debt by buying another car- I'm getting older so I don't drive as much, either.
