Two planes clip wings at Reagan Airport?

Are you kidding me? Apparently there was another incident at Reagan Airport in Washington DC. In this instance, nobody was hurt. But how did two taxiing airplanes get that close to each other? I assume that our president responded to the rash of air travel incidents early in his administration by beefing up the FAA, hiring more ATC personnel, etc., but I do not know this to be the case. Maybe this is just "fake news." But I see several reports about it from varying news sources. I think it is real. Do you think this really happened? Have you seen Trump apologize for the chaos in the aviation industry that his early policies caused? If so, please send a link.

Yeppers, saw that one as I was heading out the door. Has Trump apologized for what has happened to air safety? And vowed to make things right? It takes a "big man" (or woman) to admit your mistakes and try to make things right. I will have to check. I am home from Guitar Center.

@TheHorse — he’s never apologized for any mistake. Why would he start now?

I saw that too. I know that few random lives are not that important. But I still think that we should have a safe infrastucture.

I did hear a headline about a plane landing in the hudson river. Not sure about this though.

Might have been a helicopter. We don't realize how dependent we are on our government until we let it crumble. In Montana, I think I am some kind of "mountain man," but I buy my groceries at Albertson's.

@TheHorse Yeah, I know. It's funny. Some of the stories sound like tall tails.

@kaylachan Stories about mountain men? Or about two aviation incidents in one or two days? "Yeah, I know. It's funny. Some of the stories sound like tall tails."

It is a real worry that air disasters seem to be happening more frequently.

Saving money has its costs, I suppose.

Yeah. So glad for all of those DOGE cuts. And a helicopter just went down in the Hudson River.

And everyone has heard about the helicopter. I won't fly in those things. This world is going to hell in a hand basket.
