Before you attack, do some research on China's incursion into the Third World and that it trades with more countries than the US.
Tariffs will not hurt China, they will hurt Americans who have become used to cheap Chinese goods.
American goods are usually first quality, more expensive than Chinese goods. With tariffs the cost of Chinese goods will more than double.
In the rest of the world, China is the main supplier. The few US goods are expensive and there is often competition, either local or from another country.
Locally made products have increased over the decades as well as trade with countries in the area.
The only people who will suffer are Americans.
The price of our goods, be it coffee, rum, sugar, etc. will go up because of the tariffs. Our stuff doesn't fill your shelves so we won't feel it. And if we do, we sell to somewhere else.
So will other countries.
What we expect is that tourism from America will decrease, because people won't have the money.
