Sprouted green gram

Anything sprouted increases its nutrition in leaps and bounds. We mostly sprout green gram It is first soaked over night and the next day it is tied in a muslin cloth and hung seeing that there is enough moisture. The next day you will see shoots pushing out from the cloth You can see it in the images. I will be cooking green gram for lunch today

Some people here sprout green beans and use them in their cooking. If we had some, we could have added the sprouts to the stew we started cooking last night.

I am not quite familiar with dishes that call for sprouted grains. I only use the sprouted grains and make that dish

@allknowing I don't know of any dishes that call for sprouted grains. Sometimes we eat bean sprouts raw and other times, we add them to something we're making. They're good either way.

@DaddyEvil Even eating raw is good and some add them raw in salaads I cooked them adding masala, coconut and tempered with mustard and garlic I also added some jack fruit seeds
