I recorded "Your Mind is on Vacation" about a year ago. It is dedicated (in my mind) to someone I know who talks and talks, does not listen, and is basically full of beans. Do you know anyone like that? Donald Trump was in the back of my mind when I recorded it, but he was NOT the primary reason I did so. I actually got to see Mose Allison a couple of times in my life. He is (was) a really good blues piano player. I think he may have been from the South somewhere. I knew I could not duplicate his incredible piano playing, so I decided to record it over guitar and bass (played by me). I like my version, but I invite devoted music lovers to listen to his famous live version from... probably the 1970s. Do you enjoy music that has a touch of "attitude"?
