That is another area where I want to see what I want and what I should give away or throw away
I only use Green Tea by Elizabeath Arden which I spray on myself whenever I plan to go out. The rest of the perfumes that are on our dressing table were mostly gifted.
Perfumes do not deterioate with time and that is a good thing The one perfume that I am allergic to is Channel No. 5.
What perfume do you use and what perfumes are your allergic to?

I don´t like too sweet perfumes. When I have a party, I wear Paloma Picasso. But for family reunions I have an Eau de Cologne (4711).

I have never heard of Paloma........ I think what I use is also an Eau De Cologne and not a perfume and that is what I use all the time I need to get dressed for an outing.

The Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden that I use is not actually perfumr. I could place it in the Ea De Cologne category.

I used other perfumes for special occations but some of them are not made any longer.

@allknowing - My husband dislikes strong perfumes. His mother used all the time Chanel N. 5 (in too large quantity), it gave to both of us headaches.

I don't like colognes and don't believe I even own any anymore. My shower gel smells like pink grapefruit so I have a faint odor of grapefruit but you'd have to be hugging me to smell it. (One of my friends always compliments me on that scent when she hugs me.) I use a salt stone as a deodorant so don't worry about that.
My first wife wore a perfume called Pearls & Lace that made me throw up every time I smelled it. I threw it away and bought her Chanel No. 5 when we were dating. She might have gone back to Pearls & Lace after our divorce, I don't know.

In my younger days I had to throw away Channel No. 5 as I used to get heacaches with it
What I use now is mild

I used to wear body mists when I went to church. Now I don't wear perfume.
