Unlike yesterday, this morning is welcomed with pleasant air. So, the morning environment allows me to sit on the verandah and enjoy the air. The best part of the morning is the chirping of the birds and squirrels. While enjoying the pleasant morning air, out of nowhere, my previous visit to Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai, was remembered. Now I am rethinking why I even went for the Tiger and Lion safari. Well, the safari was well arranged by the authority, and the safari was like in an AC bus. I would indeed agree that I saw tigers and lions, but now it makes me think, what is the difference between watching them on YouTube videos and TV programs like geographic channels?. When you saw them through AC glass. No excitement at all, just a little bit of disappointment. Later I realized it could be because many years ago (around 15 years), I went to Karnataka state and got an opportunity to go for a safari, and we all were in a Jeep and saw a tigers crossing with our own naked eyes so as other animals minding own business. Anyway it could be because I am getting old Have a nice Day!!

They supposedly boring creatures, sleep 10 to 16 hours a day, hunt for 4 and eat for 4 if they get a kill. Nat Geo is just so good at their jobs it makes it look exciting and it is when the fight happens, but they also vaguely tell you how hot or cold it is depending where they are. You would sleep that long too in such extreme conditions The animals are no joke, but if you just coming in off the street expecting excitement, good luck with that,.

To be honest, my Safari, 15 years ago experience was kind of trilling experience. I would agree with you it is actually dangerous. Can't imagine them coming out in the street; heaviness of heart and unpredictable moments. Its really Scarry! During the rainy season and winter season (harvesting time), our villagers experience herds of elephants crossing near the villages; during that time, all the villagers were informed to be careful, not to say a bad word to them, and guard the village so that they will cross peacefully.

@psanasangma Tired and hungry is not when you want to see those guys. If I was on tour or visiting your lovely village, I would be like please tell me they just ate. Pretty cool you get to see these majestic creatures so close. We killed off ours, they kind of bringing back the wolf here and they say its like the Beatles coming to town how people react to when they see a wild wolf. People have a hard time living with them, but if you can keep them in a area they feel safe, people's jaws drop at how cool they are just in a evolutionary stand point really. My dog can't do that. lol

I went to a safari in Africa and we were in a jeep and that was exciting. Nothing like being in your car driving through a zoo seeing the animals. A whole lot better.

I can't even imagine seeing the big cats up close and personal like that. I'd like to see some elephants and a giraffe or two.
