Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department answered an emergency call when a female horse named April ran away from her Horse Angels Farm just one day after being surrendered a day earlier.
Sergent Ted Lewis managed to capture the mini horse on April Fools Day by using a dog leash on her bridle and walked with April down the road as they became good friends.
April will be part of the police mounted unit with the Westtown-East Goshen Police Department which is wonderful news since the pony will now have a new home with the police department.

It appears that this feel-good story that came about on April Fool's day is no joke, and the horse will now have a new home with the Police department. Good for April, the horse, who will not be horsing around without purpose anymore.

That is one good thing about this April Fool Day that a horse found a new home with a police officer who found a new home.
