My boyfriend and I always look forward to our Sunday IKEA dates; they’ve become a cherished ritual for us. There’s something truly special about wandering through those vast showrooms, exploring the clever designs and quirky decor. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a busy week. We love to indulge in our favorite dishes at the IKEA café, savoring everything from perfectly cooked steak to crispy panko shrimp. Each bite feels like a little slice of happiness. After we’ve filled our bellies, we often make our way to Starbucks, where I can’t resist ordering my go-to, a grande iced coffee with Dulce de Leche. There’s something comforting about sitting together there, sipping our drinks, and soaking in the cozy atmosphere. While he dives into the world of Mobile Legends, playing and strategizing with his friends online, I use that time to focus on my doctoral studies. Surrounded by the buzzing energy of the café, I pull out my textbooks and notes, diving deep into research. It’s a delightful mix of productivity and relaxation, and I truly cherish these moments we share. Each Sunday feels like a blend of fun and fulfillment, and I can’t imagine a better way to kick off the week!
