Well that was an unexpected afternoon

My neighbor and I were supposed to go out for lunch or an early dinner but she texted around noon saying she wasn't feeling well and asked if we could postpone. Fine. I was napping at that point and didn't wake up until about 1. She then texted that her roommate and boyfriend were still in the apartment and she had to get out so she was walking Whiskey. . . here. Fine. I'm here anyway. She stayed for like 4 hours. She DoorDashed food here. It was crazy--she ordered baked ziti. I was like "I could have made that for you!" Whiskey played with Charlie and did the zoomies several times. Claire made her dislike of the dog clear. Adso stayed hidden until like 30 seconds after they left. In any case it was nice to have someone here to just chat with. It is a shame that we weren't this close when she lived 2 doors away. So now it is time to figure out dinner and get going on those cinnamon rolls I had planned.
