Pasteurization is a simple yet powerful process that often goes unnoticed in our daily lives. It's a method of gently heating food and beverages. Like milk, juices, and even eggs. To kill harmful microorganisms, making them safer to consume and extending their shelf life.
Invented in the 19th century, this process revolutionized food safety. Without it, many of the items we rely on every day could pose serious health risks. Pasteurization reminds us of the power of small changes with far-reaching effects. A quiet protection woven into the fabric of modern life.
Again, as Holy Week starts, there's a deeper parallel to draw. Just as pasteurization purifies and preserves, this sacred time calls us to reflect and renew. It's a chance to cleanse our hearts of bitterness, purify our thoughts with grace, and preserve the kindness within us for those around us.
May this week inspire us to embrace life’s quiet transformations and find strength in them. A blessed Holy Week to us all!

I need to read more about this. Pasteurization is not a new word to me, but I have no idea how it actually works, or what food I have already eaten that went through such process.
