Holy Week’s Here

It is another important season for most Christians to commemorate the week that saw the betrayal, death and resurrection of Christ. In Kenya, we celebrate the week in various ways, including the universal observation of the Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday/Monday. Good Friday is gloomiest and Easter Sunday happiest. Apart from the church related activities, galas and parties are held. Some people choose to have tours to the various attractions around or even to go to the rural areas celebrate with there extended families. How is the Holy Week observed in your country?

It's quite similar here although a great many do not celebrate in a spiritual sense. They just enjoy the holidays.

Here too our Christian community observes this Holy week. Here we have a holiday on Friday on account of Good Friday.
