I lost the store bill along the way. Did this happen to you?

Well, cause i used their app, i have a digital bill, thankfully but i honestly don't know where it go.
I put it in my eco shopping bag and was it due to little wind outside or it just slipped from the bag cause i put it on the top. Hard to tell and i am really glad i have a digital one cause there is an award prize for easter so, i would feel bad not to be included.
So weird when things fly away or abandon you, isn't it? and you're really careful with your things.

I tuck physical receipts into my wallet so they stay with me until I get home. Pretty takes them once we get home and scans them into an app that gives us cash back on things we buy.
When I was still working, I had a guy that came in and bought stuff from me all the time. I'd put his receipt inside the bag with his purchases and tie but bag shut because the guy always drove around with his windows rolled down on his car. I told him his receipt was in the bag when I handed it to him... He called the store a little while later and asked if I could give him a copy of the receipt because he untied the bag while driving and the receipt flew out the window. 
I told him there wasn't anything I could do about it.

@grenery8 As long as you got the points, does it really matter how long it takes for them to post them so you can see them?
If the guy had asked for a copy of the receipt before I started running his purchase(s) through the register, I could have given a copy of it then... After another customer was rung up on that register, the guy was SOL (sure out of luck).

@DaddyEvil it matters cause i can't trust them and sometimes it's more than 2 weeks actually, a month so, yes.

of course there wasn't anything you could do
. i appreciate the guy's innocence
it is wise to put it in our wallet and not shove it anywhere where it could fly away. it is great having an app; i used one in the past but my points weren't visible for 2weeks although they said that was normal; to me, it wasn't.

I had a recent case where I could not locate my physical bill for an important purchase.
I had digital bill plus I went to get a duplicate one issued from the shop.
Now, I am keeping my latest important bills in a file.
I am not a very great person habitually in keeping fine things orderly.
Yet I am learning & refining how I keep things.

Two weeks ago, I made sure I have a ready coin for small purchase. I put it in my pocket but noticed the coin wasn't in my pocket anymore when I am about to pay.
