An upcoming addition for my doorway out on the landing

Yeah we aren't supposed to have anything out there but no one listens to that. Maintenance doesn't care and management only gets involved if someone complains. I'm about to complain about someone but it isn't for decorations. It is for bags and bags and boxes of garbage out on the landing. We all will leave a bag out there overnight but most of us take it down the next morning on our way out. *most* So I always have a door mat, memorial wind chimes, and a memorial lantern for Dad out there. In the summer though I have pretty pots of herbs and flowers. I also have an ocean-inspired welcome sign hanging on the door. I do what I can to make the entrance look nice. One of my aunts is very artistically gifted. She can paint almost anything. She's made all of us many things over the years. She even painted murals on the walls of my sister's children's bedrooms. It is really incredible what she can do. Today she sent me a picture of one of those tall and narrow "welcome" signs that are common by doors these days. She said it is almost done. Of course she knows I love the beach (Dad's accident excluded) and my apartment is all decorated in beach-themed stuff. She took it upon herself to paint this for me to have here outside the door. Love it! I can't wait to see what more she will do with it.
