My husband's 2nd cousin came over yesterday to do the trash, pick up groceries and make sandwiches. She was only here about an hour and said she had a change of plans and had to go. It was over 70 outside; so chances are she wanted to sit outside in her yard. There are tons of things to be done here.
I hope you have filed your taxes. I think I read that there has been an extension?
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes, peas, pears
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate chip muffin
Dinner - Turkey/cheddar sandwich and Doritos
What did you eat yesterday?

Hopefully you can eventually find a way to get all that work done. The list never really stops growing of course, but it grows faster the less things you can check off in the meantime.
For dinner we had braised pork steaks with fried potatoes and buttered kernel corn on the side. Yummy.

@porwest I talk to my husband every day. I usually end up tearing up. It will take a while until I feel better.

Maybe you guys need a break from each other. Let see, I had salisbury steak, a bagel some potatoes and peas, and for lunch I had soup. I also had more of that Red Velvet cake. I shouldn't have brought it home, but it spoke to me.It is truly delicious, and I am not really even much of a Red Velvet fan.

Unfortunately there is too much that needs to be done to take a break from each other.

Do you think she is possibly overwhelmed with it all, or is she always hard to get along with? Honestly, if you can find someone else to do some of the stuff in the house, maybe she could just go back to being the grocery person who makes sandwiches and does the trash. I’m not sticking up for her rude behavior. But it does seem like she has some problems.

She has a lot of problems. She acts like a 5-year-old (she admits to that) and gets absolutely livid over the simplest things.

Does she act like this with her daughter and family? It sounds like she truly has a lot of anger.

Is she still mad at you? I can see where she might like to relax outside. Maybe she will get to feeling more positive about doing things to help you soon.

I´m glad that your late husband´s cousin is helping you.
I went to the doctor with Dixie yesterday and I have to have 2 exams done. But the doctor did not seem to find me dying.
Still I need some tests And I´ll start next Monday.

I think states that have been hit by natural disasters have been granted an extension. I know Kentucky is one of them.
I had a chicken taco and rice for lunch, BBQ chicken and potatoes for dinner. And apples and a strawberry frozen fruit bar and yogurt!!
