So today is a very good morning. Things have been going very well right now so in a way I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop while also enjoying the awesome feeling. Saturday was training for the Fire Department. The topic was marina fires and took place at a marina. It was an awesome training but what happened after is what made my day. I went to Chief about why I was kicked off of events. I had gone to everyone else I knew so when that brought me no news, I went to the source. Chief was genuinely surprised. He even said that he can see that I'm passionate about it and I'm good at it. Apparently I'm not as invisible as I thought I was lol. He said that while the Lieutenant's pick their own people and he doesn't want to dictate, he will strongly suggest that the lead for events finds a role for me. So fingers crossed I'll be getting a text or call when the Lieutenant over Events gets back in town. That made my day :) I also found out Saturday that my husband and I will also be on the upcoming SOG committee. We are changing up some of our standard operating guidelines due to new issues coming up and we need something concrete. I'm excited to help with this committee and I really want to make sure that it's fair. After training we went over a friend's and it was great to just relax and talk for a while. Their daughter is getting so big. Sunday I put the shop out at the house. It was a lot of work both putting it up and taking it down for absolutely nothing but it's ok. At least I tried. Everyone seems to think I'm heart broken over not getting any customers but I'm really not. It's the first time I put out and honestly with no signs I didn't expect anyone. I'm good at what I do so I have no doubt that I'll keep getting customers. Monday I spent all day cleaning. There's some progress but I still have a lot to do. Most of it is to be sold but I can't put all of it on Facebook at once. I'd get banned and that doesn't help at all. So Probably this weekend I'll put more up but I'll just monitor what I have up right now. Today I should be working online but I have a few ideas that I want to get laid out. Two blankets, 1 paneled blanket and a baby blanket. There's a few shirts I want to get mocked up as well. With my head going the way it is, I may even write. Or I may crash. It could honestly go either way with the way it's going right now lol. I started a new book yesterday. It's one I've already read but it's been a while since I have. It's the Fixed trilogy by Laurelin Paige. I love it :) I need to update my book list from the last time I posted it on here. What's everyone else up to today?
