Will I Ever Wake Up From This Nightmare?

It's not as if our country hasn't already been made a laughingstock in the world. But now it has proven itself to be un-American. I cannot believe that this man(Albrego Garcia) has been not only kidnapped for no reason but, taken against his will and without due process to El Salvador and put in one of the world's worst prisons. This prison does not allow visitation, education, or recreation. I've heard the inmates are beaten too. The man has three kids and no record. He has been there since March 15, 2025. Both Trump and Nayib Bukele say they have no jurisdiction over the matter and that it is up to the other. Yet President Trump has signed a one-year contract with the prison and our government is paying $6 million(yes our tax money at work)to house hundreds of immigrants. Senator Chris Van Hollen, a Democrat from Maryland is speaking out about this. He says that if the president won't do anything he will fly there and speak with Bukele and see if they can't get Garcia back home with his family. I think that Democrats need to show some backbone and solidarity in this matter. I still wonder what will become of laws and justice in this country. I'm glad to see the amount of people out in the streets proudly demonstrating their disgust for this lower life form that we have running this country right now But he doesn't even act like he sees it happening. Doesn't care. I sure hope he does not get a third term. What then folks? How long will Garcia set in that prison and America does nothing?
