Have you ever had a car with a roof rack?

This car the one I am hoping to buy..a Mercury Sable has a roof rack of sorts. I would rather have a sun roof, but it is what it is. The other thing is there is only one rear seat which is kind like a jump seat, but has plenty of room to haul stuff if need be. I suppose if you were buying a mattress or something, and it wouldn't fit down below you could put it up there or maybea Christmas tree. I hope this will be my new to me vehicle..but she is talking to someone else as well.

Good luck with the purchase. We've had roof racks but rarely had the need to use them.

Our first, truck style, Equinox had both a sunroof as well as rails on the roof. But they were ornamental rails and I do not think that they were functional, at least we had no need to test that theory. I hope that you get this vehicle.

Thanks, I hope so. These are ornamental as well, but I think they could be used if need be. I hope I can get this, but she talking to someone else as well Ha, it turns out it is a guy who is an owner..for some reason I thought it was a woman.

I do not own one but here many cars and taxis in particular have these racks that are used to load luggage.

Good luck with the car purchase. We've had roof racks before. Only used it once.
