Well we know why. Robert F Kennedy Jr ran for president for 2024 as first a Democrat and then as an Independent. He eventually dropped out with an obvious quid pro quo with Trump that he would get a Cabinet job. . . and he did. RFK Jr is now the Secretary of Health and Human Services. Between his lack of medical knowledge and the DOGE bros and Elmo defunding everything, well it isn't going well for the country. RFK Jr. is a well-known anti-vaxxer. Incredibly he announced a couple of days ago that we would know the cause of autism by September. First of all BS. That isn't going to happen. What he said in that presser was even worse. . . "And these are kids who will never pay taxes, they'll never hold a job, they'll never play baseball, they'll never write a poem. They'll never go out on a date. Many of them will never use a toilet unassisted." Wait. . . what? Of course autistic individuals can have jobs, play sports, have relationships, and use the bathroom. It is a spectrum so some of them are high-functioning where you wouldn't even know and it goes all the way to those who are non-verbal and who can't stand to be touched to the point that they can't wear clothes. What an ignorant statement, again, from someone who has no medical degree. Good job MAGA morons! Support for people like this is why there is currently a massive measles outbreak in the southern US.
