I stopped drinking after trying unsuccessfully to control or manage it.

I used to drink. Would hit the rock bottom then suffer for several days, telling myself I wont drink again. Then when my health improved, I tried to have controlled drinking which would then last three days to a week and then I find myself really sick from over drinking. This went on repeatedly and turned my life into a wavy series of "crests"& "troughs". The hangovers, nausea, stomach pains, body weakness etc would then take toll. Luckily one day I just woke up and decided to stop drinking altogether. Hours of sobriety turned into days, then weeks, then months! The decision has really rewarded me. I Eat well, sleep well, work well and relate well. Who else just quit drinking even without assistance?

Thank you. I can at least do so many things without errors. And can stay without pain. I can eat well, no more vomiting and loss of appetite
