4/16/25 - Meals

Got a lot done yesterday. Paid the lawyer and picked up a check that was made out to my husband's estate, went to the Title Bureau and got a title for the car I want to scrap, deposited the check at the bank and went to the funeral home to make my final arrangements and pay for them. My husband's cousin was her usual crabby self. I asked her if she was coming on Sunday...she said I'll let you know. So apparently she is also running the schedule now.
The roofers arrived at 7 am. Brrrrr. There was frost on the grass. I am listening to major noise now which will go on all day long.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Meatball sub, mixed veggies, applesauce, cranberry juice
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin
Dinner - Turkey/cheddar sandwich and chips

Husband's cousin seems to resent you at this point, so I think you need to cast a wider net. Even a home health agency could probably send someone over to help.

I hope the roof is finished. It feels great to get that done. I think you need to HIRE someone, so that you can be the boss.

I had left-over turkey casserole, one of those meal in a bag deals... it was adequate.

Salads! Chicken taco for lunch, lettuce and tomato salad with BBQ chicken and potatoes and apples for dinner. And grapes!!!!

I still have to go to the lawyer and get my will done, get a headstone and get my hair cut. I also have a mammogram and a bone density test and some doctor's and dentist appointments.

You did get a lot accomplished and it's just sad that the cousin is so grumpy. Glad the roofers showed up and can get that done. Looks like you're able to cross a few things off your list.
