Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 58 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Not quite top down or windows open weather. It is supposed to be 80 here on Saturday! Woohoo! Work was short and sweet today. It was like we were in and out of there. I didn't eat breakfast here because it is payday so clubs/teams always put out a spread. This week it was the baking club. What a disappointment. It was Box O Joe from Dunkin, bagels, crossiants, and basically every flavor of Entemann's donut sold. There was not a speck of fruit or protein to be found. I grabbed a croissant. When I got up to my room the guy who shares it with me gave me a Boston creme donut. Normally I'd pass but I went for it. Then another coworker told me that her 1st period brought in food. I went down there and got a bunch of bacon and fruit salad. Basically I was a human garbage can this morning so it is surprising to me that I am already hungry again. The students entertained themselves with games. I had hidden the foam ball that they used for silent ball on Freaky Friday but someone went into the cabinet and found it. During the course of the day someone drilled the blinds/window, almost hit the computer monitor, and narrowly avoided smashing a collection of beakers on the back counter. Needless to say the ball then went back into the cabinet. I'm back at the apartment now with the cat crew. I heard a knock on the door and I figured it was my downstairs neighbor. Nope it was my second mom with a cute rabbit vase filled with flowers. That was nice to her. I do love having flowers on the table. For now I am flipping through cookbooks to make a grocery list. I have an hour of tutoring at 2 and then again at 4. I had rescheduled them so I could be done early but the usual 4-5 student emailed me that she needed to switch back to that. It is fine. I don't have anything planned as per usual. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
