A monsoon magic!

Its a gray overcast day with sporadic rainfall. The rustling of the green leaves, followed by the pitter-patter of raindrops, and the soft ombre of the firmament fading from greyish brown to somewhat deep purple
is making everything around so scenic! Our balcony overlooks a pond. The drops of rain gently touch the pond water, forming ever-shifting patterns- each blossoming like a fleeting flower .
I am so loving the rain after days of humidity. We had a bit of rain yesterday but it wasn't enough...it did nothing to dispel the heat rather it added to the humidity I must say. Its almost 6 pm here. As of now, just enjoying the rain with a cup of tea from the balcony.

I'll take your sentence, "Our balcony overlooks a pond", as "We have a sea facing flat on the 28th floor" Oh well, I can imaging Aparna ji, how indeed scenic it might be when a balcony overlooks a pond.
We have been having pretty hot days here. And the temperature is consistently above 40 degrees. Even the fan blows hot air. Ohhhh, please give us those overcast conditions with some rains. We need it a lot!
