According to the weather forecast; we are going to have windy and rainy days the next week.
I have observed weather forecasts go wrong most of the times. But it seems they will be right this week.
It was a sunny day. In the afternoon the winds suddenly started blowing fast. We closed the windows.We could hear loud thunders and see the lightening. And then it started raining.
Our state capital has also recieved a heavy downpour.
It seems the forecasts are right this time

I hope that it's good rain to give you relief from the heat, but not too much. That becomes another sort of problem in itself. Even downpour for too long can come with it's own disasters.

A downpour and a drizzling both have their respective negative and positive sides Fortunately now the humidity seems to be lessened a little.

Even with advancements, the Indian Met Department had been off mark many a times.
There are simultaneous predictions of heatwaves in many areas plus a monsoon with 102 to 108 % of long term average in India overall, that is slightly in excess.
Let us see how the predictions go this time.

Here we are used to live in ACs most of the time.
It means higher electricity bills but better than getting sick in dry and terribly hot weather.

We are going to have heavy rains during rainy season. I have read the forecast in newspapers. We will have more than average rainfall Let us see what happens. But now it is very hot here.I bath twice a day and now will start bathing thrice a day.

You are right Especially the coastal regions face storms and heavy rain. I've just watched the news that Bhubaneshwar today had a heavy downpour
