When old songs fit todays world

Tuffy is worried about Roscoe, can you tell?

I don't know if you can tell but in the above photo Tuffy is showing concern for Roscoe. He's been doing this ever since Roscoe showed his fear of the noises that the strong winds make on this mobile home. Tuffy also likes to sleep with a part of him touching both Roscoe and me although I'm under the covers. I was listening to a song on youtube and when I realized what the words meant it dawned on me that even though this song was released in the late 1980s it still portrays what we feel today. Just because it's 2025 doesn't mean humanity has moved forward except in terms of technology

Some songs and their lyrics are timeless, they are relevant in all times and all generations. We have quite a lot of them and they touch the right string in current times too. Seeing Tuffy and Roscoe is so heartwarming. Very cute!!

They love each other, they just have to pretend they are enemies. I’m amazed (not in a good way) how modern and accurate lyrics from 60s songs are today.

Believe it or not the lyrics had nothing to do with love in the sense of romance between 2 people. It's more likely my interpretation but I'm not far off.

Both feelings are evident in the photo, that Roscoe feels uneasy and that Tuffy is picking up on that and trying to be brave with and for him. Your boys are incredibly close.

Yes they are very close and I have to admit that Tuffy is probably the most sensitive kitty I've ever been owned by

Big, tough dogs become scaredy cats at times. Tuffy is a good friend to Roscoe.

You're right. Roscoe hates noise even if it's the wind blowing. I need to get this poor boy some ear plugs for those time when people around here pop off those stupid fireworks.
