This is the first time that I have yet to eat a mango this season. We have trees and two are loaded but so far I have not found anyone to harvest them. If this continues and we do not get anyone to harvest them I may have to buy mangoes from the market. The guy who normally did that for us fell from a coconut tree not so long ago and now he is wary of climbing trees. Not a happy situation

Get a pole with a hook on it. Knock them down.

@allknowing Not if you pick them up, but I will be honest, not sure how they work. Maybe when they hit the ground they get bruised so bad they no good. Have some one try to catch them. I am sure someone could catch a few. I hate waste too but they will waste too if no one picks them. They will drop one way or another. Might as well try.

That's a pity you can't get someone to harvest the mangoes for you.

The gardener who did it has retruned to his native place to join his father's business The maid's husband who used to do that earlier has developed angst after he fell from a coconut tree not so long ago I have contacted him once again and has asked hime to check if he can still do it.
