What would you be remembered for when gone?

At times I wake up in the middle of the night, in the quietness I find myself. No sleep. I start reminding me of somethings that I cannot change. I remind myself of my past, which is already gone. Then I remind myself of a future that will be without me. It is then that I start challenging myself to consider leaving behind a legacy. I pick a pen and write some poems or just short lines, especially opinion on solving common problems. Then I retire back to bed to try get some sleep. What would you like to leave as your best legacy?

Still trying to leave the footprints of mine before I am gone...
meanwhile trying to be humble, simple but again treat everyone as they are and place them where they belong also

I do the same. I hope that when I am gone, people(kids and grandkids mostly) remember my sense of humor and that I always tried to do the best I could. I hope I have taught them well, and they remember some good things I have taught them. I'm not a poet. I bet you write some interesting lines in the early hours.

My current work deals with monitoring of the government programs in the villages. It is my duty to provide technical assistance with the goal of helping the officials in giving the necessary service for the people. For me I want to leave a place better than when I found it.

I do not have a lot of achievement in term of monetary or career but I will like to think that I will always be there whenever there are disasters and I am there to clear the mess that was being left behind or mess that happen naturally.

I have cleared graduation; but studying is still my habit. I'm now studying Sanskrit; our classical language.My friends ridicule me for it They wonder what I will do after learning the language..
I would like to be remembered as one who loved to help others and learn new things.
