Finished just in time redux...

I went out shopping this morning. I took my walker and the bus because it looked as if it might rain. I can use my walker as a grocery cart, too. I wore my winter coat even though it was 18°C/65°F because it's always so cold in the majority of the grocery store, thanks to all the freezers. I'm glad I did but by the time I was finished and ready to come home, it had gone up to 20°C/68°F, so I just draped it over my groceries.
And then the spitting started. By the time I'd packed away everything and made myself a cup of tea, the rain started in earnest. I sat outside under the patio cover and listened to the gentle rain as I drank my tea.

Draping the winter coat over your groceries was a good idea. Who knows they may have felt the cold too

Oh, thank goodness! I was afraid you'd gotten into an argument with a neighbor that spat at you. I'm glad it was only spitting rain!

Wow, this early? It hasn't even been all that warm yet.

We have had a few thunderstorms here since last night. They were short and moved on quickly. We only got to 54 today so far, and it's wet outside so it seems colder than it is.
I enjoy listening to rain fall as long as I don't have to be out in it!

Yes, a gentle rainfall on the roof is soothing.

It really is, another favorite sound is ocean waves, but since I don't live near an ocean, if I want to hear that I can locate it online.

I'm glad you missed the heavy rain. Sitting on the patio with a cup of tea sounds heavenly.

I don't know about heavenly (need more blooming flowers to scent the air for that) but it was nice.
