In the Weeds for Saturday April 19th

I have been sleeping in a little every day for about the past week or so. My grandson is so funny in the mornings. Joking around and being silly. But, for some reason, he hasn't been that way for the past week or so. Oh, I remember. He had been without one of his meds. Somehow, his mom or he lost it. So until tomorrow, he has none. We don't understand how it happened or where it went. Weirder things have happened. The pharmacy shows my daughter signed for it, but it never got here. I guess there is a first time for everything. The weather has been nice. I am bummed that we haven't had any thunder and lightning at all yet. I am hopeful for a good storm soon. I do so enjoy a good bit of lightning in the evening. Thunder ain't so bad either. We are getting ready for the flooring to be done mid-month next month. It will be a struggle for my grandson to move all the heavier furniture back and forth. My daughter can help a little, but not much. I'll be glad when that's over. The cats always scurry when strangers come into the house, and I feel sorry for them. I'm not really big on it either. So that will be fun. I hope it looks nice after they are done. A doctor (probably a nurse practitioner) will be coming on the first Friday in May to see me. It's a part of Humana's insurance program. That should be interesting. I will have to come up with some odd questions to ask. I enjoy making them wonder. Not a mean streak, just fun-loving. Happy Saturday. Any plans for Easter tomorrow? I got my daughter a Cadbury egg. She has gotten one nearly every year since she was about 2. She's 54 now. The picture is from my collection.
