Have you never tried steaming stuff? It works for me. At this moment there is something taken from the fridge is getting steamed on the gas here

Well, the item was 'on special' so I guess there was a run on it and they pulled a bunch out of deep storage. But I'm surprised that it was still frozen hours after I got it home.
