Dad shoots a man who broke into his daughters bedroom

A father who lives in a home in Jackson Georgia who was a military veteran is being praised by Butts County Sheriff Gary Long for his role of shooting a man who broke into his home on Monday morning likely to commit a robbery when the daughter who was inside of her bedroom when the home invader crashed into the home by breaking a window to get in.
The father of the ten year old girl who was celebrating her birthday then came to confront the home invader who seeing the father with a gun in his possession, ran out of the home through a window and fled the scene after the dad shot the home invader made threats to kill the father.
The alleged home invader was later caught by three deputies with the Butts County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) who used tasers to catch the alleged home invader who was identified as Adbil Aquil.
The father was justified is shooting the home invader since it was in self defense since the home invader make threats to rub out the family members.

Let's hope that that guy is locked up for a long time too, and not just given a slap on the wrist, and released too easily. Punishment of these villains should be more severe.

That is the complaint that when a person defends his home in some states in America, they can be arrested for shooting at a criminal, I am in agreement with you that the dad in Georgia.

@Deepizzaguy o, i see. yes, it's a little bit different then. i can't shake the case here when a woman stabbed her husband cause he was koing to kill her; he was choking her and she felt something by her side and attacked him. by accident, it was the knife and she hit only once. she was sentenced 9 years in prison (the highes sentence back then) but actually served 3 cause the president back then pardoned her. this happened in 2008 and what makes it sad is hope of seeing her 13-year old son one day and that hope kept her going. yet, when she got out, maybe cause her rdn was raised by her husband's parents, the son didn't want to meet with her. she lost everything.
