It's so hot here in India these days... The temperature is consistently 40+. And it's a hard time and a challenge to fight these hot days. 2024 was the hottest year, if I'm not wrong. This year isn't yet declared so. But it's nothing less either.
What do you do to fight heat and summer in your area?

That's probably the easiest way out, isn't it? But then there are tasks and other things to do on a daily basis. That keeps us busy. So at times, it's not guaranteed that it'd be easy to stay away from the sun. But still yes, what you said, if possible to follow, would make it the easiest solution of all

@snowy22315 Yes. I agree. If we do work management and time management, then I think, staying indoors can be possible. And as you said, stay out of it, can be achieved.

Ohhhh we have a gardening point here as well
Well, we had some showers last month. Just only enough to make the compound wet. Not much. But that still made all my plants bloom more and they were feeling really happy. I placed all the pots out in the compound.
Rains are really a must, not only for us, but also for the environment around us. Isn't it?

@allknowing True. Rains add another level of beauty to the nature. Also, it helps to keep the temperatures down, which has become the need of the hour today. We can't even imagine life without rains. It'd be so terrible to even start thinking about it.

That's what I'm seriously doing these days. I've observed that even being in the shade can't be enough of there is hot air flowing nearby. The heat is carried along with it, and that can also be a bit hazardous. So, yes, shade is vital. But being in a cool place is equally important.

Water is always a big trouble shooter as far as heat is concerned. I take a shower in the afternoon to beat the heat.
