Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 50 degrees F and clear here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 58. I can't wait for it to warm up and stay warm. I was up late and then up early. I definitely will be going back to bed at some point. Whiskey is here yet again. She sprung that one on me last night. I thought she was only working 2 days but apparently it is 3. Whatever. It is fine. I didn't have any big plans for the day anyway. She left his crate here yesterday so I can go out if I need/want to. What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning. It is 49F in my part of Missouri this morning and the forecast claims we'll have storms throughout the day. There is also a flood warning in effect for my area. Even with the storms, the forecast shows it might reach 73F by late this afternoon. I have a doctor appointment this morning so we had to call for a medical taxi... I hate riding in the medical taxis because they pick up several people and then we all have to wait until the last person is done with their appointment before we are brought home again. I hope you enjoy your day.

@NJChicaa I've missed several appointments because of the way the medical taxis are run in Missouri. Someone from the insurance called me a few days ago asking if I liked the medical taxi since I'd had to use it a week ago... I explained that I didn't like it and only use it when I'm forced to use it. (Social Security is checking again to see if I qualify for SSDI and they made an appointment for me with an eye specialist and an endocrinologist since I missed my appointments for both in January. I can't miss the appointments they make for me.) The person I spoke with asked why I don't like the taxi so I explained that for $88 a trip, the taxi should be able to take me to and from my appointments without needing to pick up other people and taking them home again. That person agreed and said the medical taxi IS a private taxi and should just take me (and Pretty, since she's my carer) to and from the appointments without stopping for anyone else or taking anyone else home from my appointments. This is the second time the insurance company has called and asked my opinion of the service.

@DaddyEvil whoa you have to pay $88 for a ride to the doctor? That should be included with your insurance

It was a very short night. My phone rang early and woke me up. Then the news said the pope had passed away, so I have been watching that. Very cloudy today again...the sun has forgotten that it can shine here, I think. Have a good day, with all of those furbabies you won't be bored!

Today is a lot of cleaning and making stuff. My list is ever growing and I never feel like I'll get it all done but that's ok.
