This Lenten week was a deeply enriching experience for our family. On Holy Thursday, we traveled to Bataan, where we visited several historic churches. It was a time for prayer and reflection, and we were fortunate to witness various local religious activities that brought the community together in faith and devotion.
Good Friday continued with more spiritual observances, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the solemnity of the occasion. The atmosphere was filled with reverence and a shared sense of purpose.
On Saturday, we decided to take a break and headed to a local resort nestled in the mountains. The serene environment provided the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of small-town life. It was a day of peaceful relaxation, surrounded by nature's beauty.
Easter Sunday was spent at a friend's house, celebrating the joy of resurrection and renewal. The day was filled with warmth, laughter, and good company. We returned home late in the afternoon, arriving back at nine in the evening, feeling refreshed and spiritually uplifted.
This Lenten week was a beautiful blend of reflection, relaxation, and celebration, leaving us with cherished memories and a renewed sense of peace.

That was a great way to spend the Holy Week. The series of activities for the Holy Week is also a good way for the families to be together during this especial season of the year. Glad to know that you had a memorable celebration of the Lenten Season.

We usually spend Lenten week quietly at my father's house in Bicol. However, since he passed away last year, we decided to try something new. Fortunately, we received an invitation from someone in Bataan, so we chose to go there and experience a different way of celebrating Lenten week.

This year’s celebration was truly unique—it gave me a fresh perspective on the Lenten season. We witnessed something different from the usual customs, and it really made me reflect on how each place has its own meaningful way of honoring the occasion. Visiting different communities, you begin to appreciate how diverse yet deeply personal their expressions of faith can be. It reminded me that while the traditions may vary, the spirit of the season remains the same.
