Early Summers Trip 2025 - zero Point - A precursor

Since sometime last year, we had been planning a trip to a religious place. It is quite some time away from our place. Yet we had to change our plan due to some unforeseen development. So sometime from Mid March, we started talking about an alternate place for a short trip. We wanted a mix of rest and exploration. Finally we settled on exploring the city of Dehradun and its surroundings. For records, Dehradun is a city that is in a valley in the Himalayas and is the capital of the state of Uttarakhand in North India. Now a trip does cost and based on our discussions, we wanted a good enough place to stay. Yes, the amount was good enough but then we were having a trip after 2 years and wanted to avoid some inconveniences of the last time. Plus we would not be having too many trips in the coming years due to multiple constraints so we decided to go for a good Hotel and Train reservation within our budget. By 1st/2nd April, we had done the booking of Train and Hotel. I did not go for flight option as that would have almost doubled our per person expense. Anyways, even some new Trains in India these days are not much less than an Airplane in comfort. Stay Glued for more........ Especially if you like to go through a Series.
