Finally the maid's husband obliged He has had falls elsewhere and was not keen on doing this job but somehow he obliged.
Seeing him right on top there did make me uncomfortable but all went well.
We have yet to put them for ripening which we do as can be seen in the image. That will be done today
There are quite a few and may be we will sell some and distribute a few too after keeping some for us.
Hope all will ripen.

. I am back from the morning walk. My husband has gone down as one mango vendor is here with freshly harvested Mallika and Alphanso. There is a queue to buy. We have already preorder. So, soon we will have 5 Kgs of them mixed.
Glad that it all went well. I too would have been uncomfortable and praying when he was at the top.

He hardly dropped any as dropped mangoes normally rot. Good job done
At what rate did you buy those mangoes? Enjoy. I have yet to taste a mango.

@allknowing This fellow is giving is Mallika @120 and Ratnagiri Alphanso @180. It's less than the market rate, and much tastier as it is freshly harvested. One of our residents has this huge farmhouse on outskirts of the city. He will sell it to residents whenever he gets harvest. We will have few such sales from him in the coming months.

@arunima25 Hardly 4 or 6 com ein a kilo of Alphonso and that means each will cost around 40. Here I am wondering how much to sell them for.

We had 5 and two are no more Managoes were harvested from two trees. One is yet to be attended to,

As mentioned in the post they are not of this season but I hope once we keep the present lot for ripening they will be too.
