One More Day

It's Thursday so that means one more day until the weekend!!! I'm super excited lol. Can't you tell? Tonight the NFL draft starts. At 7pm central time I will have a headphone in my ear listening to it. We have a radio training to go to, we think hubby is getting his tonight so he wants to be there. I'm still working on the baby blanket. I'm getting closer to getting finished though, the dragonflies, butterflies and hummingbirds are all printed out and kind of tossed on the blanket. Now I have to do the name, once she okays that then the layout on the actual blanket I can press it. That's the thing with me. I will always ask if things are ok with you before I do something. Part of that is because I want the customer to be happy with the product. The other part of it is if you don't like it, I'm out the paper, ink and item I pressed since most of my items are personalized. I don't mind it and it's actually been a great selling point. I've been called professional and extremely easy to work with. I finished the Kristen Proby book last night and started Inevitable by Shain Rose. I read something else from her that I loved and I've had this one in my to be read pile for a while. So I just picked it up and started reading last night. That only makes book 21 for the year. At this rate, I'll be catching up to the 100 book goal in no time. I'll be at Chris's again today. Grandmom was tired yesterday but still pretty happy. Wednesday she was laughing up a storm and it's the most emotion I've seen from her in a while. It made me happy to see it. Hopefully today we can bring some of it back but with all the rain and the chill I'm not sure. yes, it's raining yet again here. We have it all week so needless to say it's just miserable. I'm lifting myself up with my books and the crafts. My shop is doing a stead little business and that makes me happy. I was hoping for more but in time I think. People are hurting financially still which I get because we are too. I signed up for an event in May and I'm excited to do that. Hopefully I have enough. I know I have a lot of items but is it the right stuff? That's always lingering in my head. I overspent this month on blanks for this event and to have certain things so I'm hoping that I'm not wrong. What is everyone else up to today? Staying warm or dry? Maybe even cool in some areas of the world?

We have sunshine and its going to be in the 80s today. Sorry you're dealing with a rainy week. You're such a fast reader that you probably read 3 books while I was reading Fourth Wing. I finished it last night and the ending was OMG. Trying to decide if I want to start the next one right away or read something else in between. So glad you recommended this series and doubly happy my granddaughter had them to lend me.

Lol it's a great series. I would still recommend reading one or two in between, unless you're like dying to read Iron Flame. If you finish all the way through Onyx Storm you'll be in the same boat as the rest of us lol

@JordanLader I'll probably read something in between but not enough that I forget what happened. I certainly don't want to rush through them and then have to wait for the newest one. It's bad enough when some of my favorite authors come out with a new book once a year.

@Marilynda1225 I know that feeling all too well. I'm an avid Nora Roberts fan and she comes out with one series and one standalone book a year. So her trilogies take three years to complete technically. I can't wait for the final Lost Bride book!
