My daughter applied to three universities. Oh, four universities. Three out of the four are State universities and one private university. Out of the three state U, she will take her last college entrance exam this coming Saturday. I am so proud to write it here that she passed all three universities (2 state u and 1 private). She passed the entrance exam at my country's national university. Being in the state u will mean no need to pay tuition fees. Though it is not really needed for the last state u entrance exam, she still wants to take it. Most of her classmates took more college entrance exam in different state u and private universities. Only two of them succeeded in passing the course in the state u while most of her classmates are either all waitlisted or failed the exam.

Congratulations! School has a big factor when applying for a job and being a student of the country's most prestigious university is something that many are dreaming of. And yes, no more tuition fees.

@rakski You're welcome. I'd worry more about the students driving than about the distance.

True. She deserves this. I just found out that the State U's admission process is very meticulous. 40% of the grade will be taken from a student's grade from grade 8 to 11 and 60% from the entrance exam. I am glad that my daughter has been a consistent achiever since grade 7
