Race week and the curse

It's race week here in my area. That's NASCAR racing at Talladega. We have a spring race and a fall race, fans have several different cities that are within 15 minutes of the racetrack so each city gets the benefits of the racetrack. Extremely busy week for all. Of late I've heard the "curse" of the Talladega racetrack. It's said that the track was built on American Indian burial/ ritual ground. I did look it up and yes there's articles about curse, to many to add a link. Do you believe in curses?

I hadn't heard about that one but do believe some areas can be bad.

No, I don’t believe in curses. I believe in man made consequences, but I don’t believe someone can have a curse put upon them. Unless God did it, which I doubt He’s doing these days.

I do feel like God would be looking over us.

As others have said, I do believe some places can be bad for whatever reason. Lacking explanations, it is easy to say they are cursed.

Generally, no (let’s be honest, most of the ground we walk on had someone buried beneath it hundreds or thousands of years ago). My sympathies to you for having to deal with the influx of people. Our nightmare, the Kentucky Derby, is next week.

Sometimes things do seem to go wrong if a Native American burial ground was disturbed. I don't know about a curse, though.

Actually I do believe in curses in ways. I have heard that Indian spirits can be very angry,

Hmm do I believe in curses no but do I think it’s wrong they built on top of an ancient burial ground yes. If they didn’t know I understand but otherwise I think it’s terrible.

I'm not sure. Certainly there are bad vibes in some areas.
