I got introduced to oats when my cholestero levels needed to be kept in check.
I had them in right earnest for breakfast and my choice was quaker oats I had them for months but I got so fed up of them that I no longer have them and I do not think I will go for them again
Anything over done I suppose makes one dislike it as in my case Strangely I am not fed up of rice and I eat it every day
Which food are you fed up of?

There is a break and that helps. But there are some foods that I just do not get fed up of. I eat an eclaire everyday for example

@allknowing I'm sure I would never get tired of ice-cream.

When I was in the hosp, with my gallbladder & pancreas attack
that just about killed me twice, & was on a what I call a nose feed
Cause I couldn't eat anything for 4 mons, that was horrible.
But Which food am I fed up of? stuff my husband always loves
to cook that I can't have & that's biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage
beckon, cabbage, potato salads, that's why I live in my cabin
where I can cook & eat what I like & can eat when I want.

What I notice from your post is that you cannot eat what your husband prepares for health reasons and not that you are fed up eating it Did not know you went through so much with yoru health. Hope you are now fully recovered.

I don't think I eat anything enough of it to get fed up with it. Sometimes I am not in the mood for something I usually like though.

I buy ground chicken at the supermarket and make them into chicken burgers. I have them every week, but like you I need a change. Maybe I'll go with a chicken roaster instead.

Oats became a trend some times back and many people followed it. I will never get fed up of rice, that has been my staple food since my childhood. It's my comfort food. I do have oats but very occasionally.

@allknowing Oats was not part of our traditional eating. We were into rice and millets more and then some bit of wheat. I strongly believe that eating local is better
