It's Friday!!! Whoo hoo!

I'm super excited to say that it's Friday. It means the weekend is right there. So close we can touch it. This weekend is going to be amazing. Tomorrow is training for four hours and then we're coming home to get the grass cut. Hopefully the weather is right and it won't rain because it really needs cut. So basically I'll be spending four hours inside then the rest of the day outside. Sunday is the day of the concert and I couldn't be more excited. We're going to see Breaking Benjamin and Staind. I'm not sure who the third band is because I've never heard of them and I forgot. We're going down early and I bought a parking spot yesterday. We're not staying the night there, we'll be coming home because I told my mother that we'd be home Monday for Hiller to come by and do the AC and plumbing check up. Today isn't too bad though. In Fire Women Creations world, I will be finishing the baby blanket. I finally got the ok from her about all the animals and the name. Now to place them on the blanket and see if she okays that. Once it's pressed it's done. I have a few other things that I want to make, mostly for the even next month. I think everything will sell at least I hope so. In the book world I got about 33% finished Inevitable last night. We went to a radio training but since it was mostly for my husband, I sat there and just read lol. Until the draft came on anyway. Yes it was the first night of the NFL draft and yes I watched it until I fell asleep. It's that time of year when football will constantly be on my TV. I'm determined to follow it better than I did last year and also do better on the football pool lol. I really need to find time to work on this puzzle. I'll figure it out eventually but for now it sits untouched. Cleaning wise I have a lot to do there as well. I think when I get up on Monday it'll be all cleaning. Monday's are my only real day to get things done so yeah, I'll probably do that. I have written up a few department events and settled a few things about the open house I'm trying to do for our station. What does it say that I can plan it all out but I have no idea how to actually get the ball rolling. I know what my station is going to say about the open house but we really should have one. That also means that I have to talk to them when I really don't have anything to say. Be the better person. Be the better person....it's so hard to do. Oh well, I'll get it figured out. There's no way to move up if I don't. Plus I want to show that I can do events and this is the perfect way. I still haven't heard about being back on the events committee. Then again none of the event committee has heard from the guy leading it either. I need to get my butt back in gear with some kind of work out. I'll figure that out too. What's everyone else up to today?

I hope that all goes well and you have a great weekend as you are expecting it to be. Hope that it doesn't rain and the grass gets cut. Wishing you all luck for your sale, hope that all you make gets sold at a price worth for the time and effort. I am in vacation since April and have lost track of the days. Weekends loose their charm in vacation.

I miss vacations lol. I get a day here and there or a weekend where we can relax but not really a lot. I work during the week and then the weekends are still work. A different type but still work.

@JordanLader Hmm,... I am an educator and counselor. So, I get summer vacation and other semester breaks. But yes, my workshops, remedial sessions, therapy sessions etc keep me busy. I don't work on weekends unless it is some online talk or workshop. I go for a week family vacation twice in year, that's a complete break from work.

@arunima25 We used to go back home twice a year but money wise we just couldn't do it. I will be going back in December this year though

Yay for the weekend!! I don't have anything specific planned except for some errands. We're expecting rain so our community yard sale was postponed. Hope the rain doesn't interfere with your yard work tomorrow. Glad the lady approved the blanket and you can get it finished. As always you are busy busy busy
