Gardening buddy brought over a good sized portion of fresh cat nip from her garden yesterday. I put it in water to keep it fresh. A few minutes ago I tore off a leaf and gave it to Siamese Beau Teak aka Bubba. He promptly chomped it down then rolled around like a guy enjoying Pot. Fred cat came in and smelled the floor like it was totally tasty. I gave him a couple of leaves and stem. He ate the entire thing. Peter cat just rolled around. Hilarious. Other news: our house is getting a new and improved roof, probably next Tuesday. The roofing company receptionist came over yesterday to get a check for half of the payment for the roof. She brought over samples. I could choose a roof color!! I have never chosen a roof color. There was the usual black and gray then green!! Oh my. But green would look too sparkly if the house was plum with gold trim. I spotted oak brown and decided on that. First the solar panel folks take off the solar panels then the roofers move in and give us a new topside. It's going to be noisy at my house for a few days.
