I have decided not to entertain stray cats as they stay put in our house and when it is time for them to have babies I dread it as handling that is not easy
We have stopped feedingf these cats but this one that you see in the photo insists on coming here no matter how many times we 'shoo' her away Despite closed doors and windows she manages to sneak in . Yesterday we found her sleeping cozily under the couch - spent the whole night there
Yes. you guessed it right We will feed her.

That's a lovely looking cat.
It's got feed me written all over it.
She seems to be very very comfortable with you. Cats know when someone is good and kind.
Cats seem to like me too, our own cats did and so do my neighbours two cats. Always outside our house waiting on the treats, and if we leave our French doors open at the rear of the house they sometimes come in. One will jump up on the couch, but not the other.
Mind you it could be my wife they like but they do seem to like a good stroke and a wee scratch.

I actually do not mind but what dreads me is when they get babies. Caring for the lot is not easy We have had that experience.

People here make a small fortune selling kittens. The more the merrier it seems.
And normal moggie cats can fetch £50 and sometimes more.
The fancy breeds are really expensive, neighbour paid £500 for a fancy kitten. No idea what type but it's a big grey thing with a big found head and really cute.

It's hard to turn them away, especially if you have soft corner for these fur babies. And that you have
. This one looks interesting. Very attractive colour coat she has, very fancy looking.

Looks like that is the job of three males - one black, one brown and one white and that white must have been our Peppie boy
As usual she came last evening but since I have been chasing her out she was scared to see me. I put some dry feed for her which she ate when I was not looking.

@allknowing That's wuld! Is that possible?
I think slowly she will insist herself into the house. She has already knocked at your heart and got positive response.

@arunima25 Let her just come, eat and go. As long as she is happy that is what I want for her. I am in no position to look after her the way I have always looked after in the good old days

I wouldn't have been able to drive her away, or not feed her. I am glad you cared for her.

I have fed strays all my life but I took a decision after having a bitter experience with one cat that had her babies here but she would shift them all over the place making it difficult for us to manage those shifts. She even kept one right on top of the kitchen cupboard
Handling all this at my age is not easy

@MarieCoyle Most cats do what they please and that sometimes does not suit us poor human beings But I love them

Wow, putting a kitten on top of the kitchen cupboard! That mama sounds as if she was determined to do things her own way!

I hope she does not steal any, but loves to comes around and stay as long she likes.
It will be good if you can feed her because not all cat choose a house, family or a person..

@allknowing I can understand you !! Feeding her without adoption also will be good idea. In that way, attachment with the particular cat can be avoided
