Oliver's First Night With Us Went Splendidly

Oliver slept a good portion of the night and again this morning on the pillow next to my head.
When I got up he followed me everywhere I went. He's a very curious cat. Seems to be attached to us already, which is odd to be this soon but it's wonderful.
He is drinking pretty good but hasn't eaten anything yet. The animal shelter said that would be normal for about 3 days until he acclimates. He did find the litterbox and used it appropriately, but only once so far.
He's a pretty chill cat.

You really lucked out with thus cat. I wish I had a nice cat like that. I am sure he will eat when he is hungry. They love baby food, and those little stews they sell. Maybe you could tempt him with that.

That is really great news.
I think I said yesterday that he was a clever cat and he realised straight away that in you and your husband he had found good people.
When we got our two cats after a couple of days it was like we had had them forever.
Oliver is a lovely cat.
