A darling 5-month-old baby elephant made his debut at the St. Louis Zoo in Missouri. He is the first Asian elephant calf born through artificial insemination. His name is Jet.

Yes indeed.
I imagine it could help many endangered species to have babies.
Science is a wonderful thing when used for good reasons.

Very cute and not sure if its the same but they also made Dire Wolfs. They were in extinction and people saying they not real because had to used gray wolfs to bring them back. Dire wolfs were first, then Grey wolfs, kind of like using your gran baby to bring back your gran moms and pops back. Its very interesting, kind of scary and not sure they need to be brought back but majority think its very cool.
