We have a few sago palms that add to the beauty of our garden I particularly like to see when new leaves appear. The colour starts with light green and by the time they are fully matured they turn hard and the colour turns dark green. Here is a set of sago leaves that have emerged. Sago palm is a hardly palm strong and nothing will affect its growth. They give out suckers and those can be planted elsewhere.

Absolutely beautiful! I remember my grand mother once had one in her garden before. It's really beautiful. We also use the leaves during palm Sunday.
