Sunk Boat Update

A little out of date, but these pictures were taken a week ago and show the somewhat improved state of the sunk boat. Well, I say improved. but the owners are aware and have taken measures to salvage the boat. I guess the rope from the tree is to keep it on an even keel… if it has a keel, I think it is a flat bottom boat. This one is a bit smaller than the last boat, so I am wondering how long it will take to refloat.

Is the sunk boat a motor boat ? What will they use the boat for ?

I think an outboard motor is attached to it to get it going. This is a pleasure craft for a bit of cruising on the canal, not a home.

I would never go out on a sunken boat but all I hear in the back of my head is we make do. So I probably would if that was my livelihood. lol

That is true, just because it is refloated doesn't mean it won't sink again!

It’s really a shame that it ever sunk.

I was wondering why it did. On closer inspection there are signs of vandalism, so that may be the cause

I hope they can get the boat fixed and floating again quickly.

I wonder how many boats sink or start to sink?

I think this is the fourth one I've seen, two of them were never refloated. Have to see with this one
