Scored Some 89 Cent Jelly Beans Today for Hubby / myLot

Hubby loves jelly beans. It's been his thing all this Easter season. I tried getting him some on sale after Easter, but none of the 3 Walgreens stores I visited had them on clearance. Until today. The store I went to had them for 89 cents a bag. They were $4.00/bag during Easter. So I got him 16 bags!!!!! It's something you can only get one time a year so he'll have a stash to last him a while.

I’d love to do that…absolutely love to do that. Jelly beans are just my favorite. Unfortunately, I’d eat half of them in one sitting. I’m not a big sweets person unless it’s jelly beans. Darn my lack of self-control!

That's a lot of sugar, for sure! I don't eat that much candy in a year...but just so you know, you can get jelly beans online anytime, and they are available at some stores by the bag all during the year. I even saw Christmas jelly beans this last holiday season.

16 bags. Well done you. That is quite a saving and 16 bags should keep hubby going for a while. The left over chocolate eggs are on sale in stores here now but we haven't bought any. I think they are still a bit of a rip off even at the reduced price
