When the Office Needs an Urgent Report

It's so fulfilling to have another productive day at work. At around 4 o'clock in the afternoon of Monday, I received a memo from our regional office requiring me to submit report on the proposed projects of Day Care Centers for funding way back in 2022. Considering that we had an election in 2023, I had a thought that most of the current village officials may not have knowledge of the proposed projects in the villages. I was planning to collect report through communicating with the village secretaries today which is Tuesday. However, to my disappointment, upon reaching the office, there was no electricity and the generator was not working. So I decided to visit the villages concern personally to get the data I needed. I have already visited some of these villages but there are those villages that I have yet to reach. Good thing that the weather is good and most of the roads are passable. Though there are roads that are too narrow and steep with very sharp angles and difficult to go up. This is one of the challenges I have to face. I spent the whole day going to different villages and was able to collect the needed data and submitted the same to the regional office. I was too tired when I reached home but happy and satisfied.
